About Us

The Delta Population Health Institute is the community engagement arm of NYITCOM at Arkansas State University. 

Our medical students have an integral role in DPH. Engagement in DPHI prepares rising Osteopathic Physicians for leadership in population health, policy and the healthcare system.

NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University is the first Osteopathic Medical School in the state of Arkansas since 2016. The mission of the medical school is to increase the physician workforce in Arkansas and in the Delta.
